In terms of toppings, Pizza Hut is a refreshing break from Papa John?s and Domino?s. In addition to using quality toppings, Pizza Hut actually puts a reasonable amount of toppings on their pizzas. Moreover, the toppings were evenly spread throughout the pizza, though in a messy way. In a pizza with ground beef, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms, I could taste each ingredient in every single bite.

One negative aspect of the pizza is the sauce, which Pizza Hut is much too stingy with. They put hardly any sauce to balance out the copious mozzarella, causing the mozzarella to dominate over the sauce in terms of flavor. Combined with the large amount of robust toppings, the sauce added virtually no taste to the pizza. The crust was crispy and too soft. Not only that, but the crust bled oil, and made the eating experience a grease-fest for the fingers.

However, when placed in the fridge overnight, the crust became much softer and had a more equal blend of flavors.
