As expected, Papa John?s pizza proved to be a disappointment. It showcased an uninteresting flavor accompanied by a steady stream of grease.

The pizza as a whole was completely bland and had a minimal number of spices in the sauce and crust. The only source of flavor was the complimentary garlic sauce. Buttery but lacking any strong garlic flavor, the sauce is hardly worth the extra calories.

Many small pools of grease speckled the pizza and added to the disaster.

As each slice is picked up, the grease spills over the crust, dousing one?s hands with the hot, potentially burning liquid. The only upside was the fact that each slice of the pepperoni pizza was completely covered with the meat.

Finally, the pizza was actually slightly better after being in the fridge for several hours. The chewy and under-cooked crust firmed up and the grease was absorbed. In a pinch, Papa John?s pizza would be acceptable; however, if a choice is present, stay away from this flavorless catastrophe.
